I have been an athlete my entire life. I attended St. Rose Catholic School where we started sports in 4th grade. From then on, I was hooked, not only to sports, but that feeling working out for a purpose. I loved working out in high school athletics. I know that’s weird, but I enjoyed feeling stronger after each workout, plus I got to talk with my friends while working out. Who doesn’t love that? I’ve always said since I left high school, “I wish I could be in high school athletics again, that was the best workout.” I never seemed to be challenged like that until I joined Folk. After my first baby, I needed to tone back up my body. I started boot camp and finally had that challenging work out that gave me the same feeling of strength that I once had (way back in the day =)). It was also so much fun getting to visit with friends while working out, just like in high school. The social element is awesome. I started teaching the St. Rose class and it’s been so rewarding. Being able to teach the class and also participate and get a work out is great!
