Try to eat fruit & veggies @ least 3 times per day! To be successful, you must be prepared – have your kitchen stocked with fresh produce.

  • Fruits and veggies contain a lot of water, which helps you stay hydrated!
  • Most fruits and veggies are low on the glycemic index and won’t significantly alter blood glucose and insulin levels (helps with satiety and body composition).
  • Studies show a diet rich in plant foods can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease as well as other diseases (even cancer cases).
  • Because they have a high water and fiber content, they are low in calories relative to their overall volume. Eating a high consumption of fruits and veggies can help control overall food intake and manage body weight while making you feel more full and satisfied. -BodyRockTV
